Dr. Josh Kaiser

George Fox University, BA; The Divinity School, Duke University, MTS; University of Edinburgh, PhD.

Dr. Josh Kaiser holds a doctorate in theological ethics from the University of Edinburgh and has a particular interest in the life and thought of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Dr. Kaiser believes the life of discipleship is not only a journey of the heart, but also a journey of the mind. He invites students to join him in the study of theology and ethics by inquiring deeply into subjects with humility, transparency, and rigor.

Q: What have you found to be the most rewarding aspect of teaching Knox courses?

A: The most rewarding aspect of teaching Knox courses online has been the interaction with students. I enjoy conversing with students about theology, ethics, and ministry, and helping them grow as analytical thinkers and writers. It is a great honor to play a small part in facilitating the growth of students as they become further equipped for effective, Christ-centered ministry in the world.
