Dr. Seth Ehorn
KNOX ONLINE PROFESSOR
Bethel University, BA; Bethel Theological Seminary, MDiv; Wheaton College Graduate School, MA; University of Edinburgh, PhD.
Seth Ehorn took the PhD from the University of Edinburgh in New Testament Language, Literature, and Theology. No stranger to a seminary setting, Dr. Ehorn is particularly excited by Knox’s vision to train, enrich, and enable students to become more knowledgeable and effective in whatever context they might find themselves working. Dr. Ehorn’s research centers on historical questions related to the emergence of early Christianity and he enjoys sharing insights into the forces and factors that shaped the movement.
Among his published works are articles in the Journal for Theological Studies and Currents in Biblical Research. Additionally he has written a commentary on Paul’s letter to Philemon, which is forthcoming from Lexham Press (to be published as part of Colossians and Philemon). Currently Dr. Ehorn is co-editing a project titled Composite Citations in Antiquity, which examines composite features of citations (e.g., Mark 1:2–3) across a range of authors in antiquity. The result of that project will be two edited volumes, both of which will be published by T&T Clark/Bloomsbury.
